Ford joined Apollo open platform in 2017, the two sides came to the strategic cooperation on car connectivity, digital solutions, AI technologies and digital marketing since June 2018. SYNC+ is the first outcome in car connectivity field. This infotainment system is based on DuerOS for Apollo that aims to better Chinese customers. With 100 years’ car R&D and manufacturing experience and quality assurance of Ford, and Baidu’s advanced AI technologies and content & service ecosystem, the two parties strive to build more intelligent connectivity experience that understands Chinese customers better. The first cooperative car types include All-New Ford Focus Active, All-New Ford Taurus and New Ford Edge ST/ST-Line, all of these cars have come into market since August this year.
